Smash Burgers

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix 3-star beef mince, salt, pepper, and onion powder in a bowl
  2. Form 3-star beef mince mixture into 100g balls
  3. Slice lettuce thinly and combine with a small amount of mayonnaise
  4. Finely dice white onion and set aside in some water
  5. To make burger sauce combine mayonnaise, american mustard, tomato sauce, diced pickles, sugar, and a touch of paprika
  6. Season burger sauce with salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste
  7. Heat pan to high heat and once screaming hot, smash 3-star beef mince balls into patties directly on the pan
  8. Cook on high for 2 minutes and then flip the patties
  9. Place burger cheese on top of the patties in the pan, and cook for another minute
  10. Turn off the heat and remove patties from the pan
  11. Using the residual heat, toast the brioche buns
  12. Strain the white onion
  13. Assemble the smash burgers as you see fit with the brioche buns, burger sauce, patties, lettuce, white onion and pickles
